| | frustrated | ] | I guess those rappers and what not are going to want to stop putting on the spinners. Why? I just saw a middle aged white woman driving a PT Cruiser with spinners. If I was stupid enough to have them on my truck I would burn them right about now. If you don't believe me I will go on stakeout and get a picture of this thing. |

Well I guess it happens. Finished with school and looking for a job. I have a couple good options out there so hopefully one will pay off.
On the other hand I can't skateboard anymore. took a pretty bad spill today and lost a layer of skin on the arm. Well time to sleep it off. I got a new camera so maybe I could get some pictures up of the damage later. |

| | Iris Goo Goo Dolls | ] | Well I know it's a few months late but I have few things I would like to do more of this year. 1. I want to find a job for after college. I graduate in May and it would be nice to have job ready to start within a month or so of getting out. Hey it would be nice to have about a month to get settled in. 2. I want to golf more. I golfed maybe two or more times a week in High School when I was working at the golf course. I enjoy the game. Something about going out there and being pissed off at a tiny white ball makes you feel so much better. I don't know how it works I just know I feel great when I am out there. Even better when I play well. 3. Well I just want to feel better about life. I think there are some lose ends out there I feel I might like to close and I will work on them. I think golfing more will help. Having to not worry about a job will also help so basicly I would like to reduce my stress level. Well now that you know help me out here and there. Make sure I go do things for myself every now and then and take life easy. I want to get back to that laid back Dave I once was and not have to worry about everything all the time. |

| | annoyed | ] | Personally I am more than pissed at getting raped everytime I sell books back. If I didn't have to go and mail books all the time I would sell them all online. Why because I have sold two that the bookstore wouldn't take back for more than I sold all the other books they did take back. And the ones they took back were good size books and totaled about $250 when they sold them to me. SO the two online sales, they were under a hundred and I have more than half that back. Much better than the bookstore. |

| College |

| | slightly | ] | After reading a short article on the internet I have bone to pick. With all the talk of equal protection and equal rights how is it that an all girls college is deemed ok but the second you hear of an all male college there is an uproar about how women need to be let in there. This all mute since the Wells College will now be excepting men since they are going to go belly up if they don't.
Now I have taken and passed a college course titled civil rights and civil liberties. According to the supreme court unless there is an equal all male college this womens college never should have been allowed. It would have violated the equal protection clause of the constitution. the loop hole I assume they were operating under is the fact that they were a private college.
Which brings me to my next point. What ever happened to that bitch who complained about the Augusta National and the Masters being an all male club. It is their right as a private club to select who they want as members. It is not like women cannot play the course they just cannot be members. Unlike a course in Canada that does not even allow men to play on the course unless they are accompanied by a female member of the club. granted this is in Canada but still.
Don't get me wrong I am all for equal rights and all that but if there can be all womens school or clubs why can't there be all men clubs. It would only be fair or better yet equal. So to the bitch who screwed with the golf club f@34 you. As far as I know you don't even play golf so what does it matter to you. In a final note lets all be friends. Lord knows without all girl or guy schools what would this world be like. |

| | gloomy | ] | This qoute has some merit.
"It's odd," the Warrior of the Light says to himself. "I have met so many people who, at the first opportunity, try to show their very worst qualities. They hide their inner strength behind aggression and hide their fear of loneliness behind an air of independence. They do not believe in their own abilities, but are constantly trumpeting their virtues." A Warrior reads these messages in many of the men and women he meets. He is never taken in by appearances and makes a point of remaining silent when people try to impress him. He uses these occasions to correct his own faults, for other people make an excellent mirror. A Warrior takes every opportunity to teach himself. (Paulo Coelho)
Is this not true. Don't we go out to bars put out this image of ourselves that isn't fully true. I do see this in myself. I have read this qoute before over a year ago and as I read it again tonite I pulled somehing completly different from it. I have't been using other people as a mirror. But I looked inside and after reading this and see myself. Not as the Warrior but the people he views. I am not an aggresive person but I saw myself being one today at work. I act independent but I am lonely, very easy when you dislike a roomate and spend nearly 40hrs a week at school or at work and the rest of your spare time is spent doing homework. I don't believe in myself sometimes, But I go aroung acting like I am. The lesson that I take from this is I need to be true to myself before I can be true to the rest of the world.
That and I need some sleep. |

Those of you who know me, know that I am going to one day be a cop. And for one I have gotten sick and tired of the bum rap they get. They have to be one of the most under appreciated group of people out there. They are the people everyone hopes they never see. Granted when was the last time you saw a cop and said man its a good day the cops are here. The only time you ever see them is when one you are getting a ticket or two something terrible has happened and you need them. Well next time you run into a cop and are pissed just keep things like this in mind: Think about the fact that he is getting paid next to nothing and in his job he might get killed, two remember last thursday when your house was getting broken into by that crack head but the cops caught the guy. Well they caught the guy but not before they patted him down only to nearly get pricked by his dirty needles. Not to mention cops consitantly get kicked, punched, spit on and verbally abused by the criminal type. If someone were to even try and do any of the above to you they would probably be arrested if you wanted them to be. They actually make contact with a cop and sure they are going to be arrested but odds are the DA might not press charges. The whole verbally abusive part. I am not talking about what you tell a cop when you are getting a ticket. I am talking about 15 solid minutes of every four letter word about your kids, wife, mother, father, or any other family member. How would you react? Could you sit calmly in the front seat and continue to drive this person without talking back?
So hey all I am asking is cut them some slack. They put up with a lot crap and hell follow the rules even chris rock knew about. Think of laws as "man I wouldn't do that" and then maybe you will never have to meet a cop. But if you do at least keep in mind that they are only doing their job. You wouldn't want them telling you how to yours would you? |

| Good Movies |
[Nov. 15th, 2004|11:42 pm] |
If anyone out there wants to see a movie on the human spirt and the will to survive go out and rent yourself Touching the Void. Great movie about true events. Its about Two mountain climbers who encounter problems at 20,000 ft. I don't want to give it all away but its more like a documentary type film but is very interesting and very good.
On the other note Robin came to vist from the Florida. It was good to see her again. On top of that she turned 21 so there was plenty of drinking going on. Things have been busy. I can't wait for the break coming soon so I can see some family and spend time away from this town. I go and test down in San Diego for a job next week which is going to be the start of a long road I am sure. It might mean that one day I will have a real job and be in the real world. |

| | piano man | ] | Let me tell you something about UPS. They never actually show up on time. So they say we will be there by 2pm. Ok take a class off to make sure you are there for the package no big deal right. I mean they did say they should be there anytime between 8am-2pm. Pretty big damn window. All they have to do is get inside that. apparently what they meant is We will deliver the package at 6pm. A good 4 hours late. So I wasted a good day waiting for them. I even spent 30min of fear at the store shopping for food to eat thinking they are going to show up while I am gone. If anyone from UPS is listening hear me know: "deliver on time. or call, do something so that I don't waste a day waiting for you" In this day in age how hard is it from them to let someone back at the hub know hey I am running 4 hours behind let some of these people know so they can get on with life.
Screw it I am out. |

Second is that unless I have been drinking I don't normally have to much to say. With that said I am going to try and do this every now and then so when I do think of something to say I am sure you will all be the first to know. |
